Overview
The ITC has trained students from around the globe, many traveling great distances from Australia, the Pacific Rim, the Middle East, Europe, and of course the U.S., Latin America and Canada.
The Infrared Training Center is the only thermography training organization to receive ISO 9001 certification. Our certifications are globally recognized and are designed to exceed the requirements of international certification standards.
The staff of ITC participates in certification committees to ensure we are aware of the latest developments in international standards. The most widely recognized standard for non-destructive testing in most areas of the world is ASNT, an American standard. A European norm, EN473 is rapidly gaining support and we follow both ASNT and EN473 standards in our Eurasia training center. We are participating in, and in many cases leading, certification developments in the Scandinavian countries, France, Israel and Australia.
North and South America
ITC Course Certifications meet or exceed ASNT SNT-TC-1A guidelines. Level I and Level II training is accredited by NETA (International Electrical Testing Association, an accredited standards developer for the American National Standards Institute, ANSI).We are committed to making sure students know how to use their cameras before we certify them. In fact, the ITC has more ASNT Level III Thermal/Infrared Certified staff members than any other organization.
Eurasia
Our teaching staff has extensive experience in thermography, from product design through application development and active consulting practices. Level I and Level II CM Certification courses exceed Level I and Level II ASNT-SNT-TC-1A recommendations for Thermal/Infrared testing, as set forth by the American Society for Non-Destructive Testing. Courses and instructors follow practice as set forth by EN473, a thermographic norm within the European Community.
