ITC Eurasia
The EurAsia training operation is headquartered at our Stockholm, Sweden thermography center. There the team develops and implements training tools, programs, and certification for countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. In combination with their subsidiaries and training partners, ITC Eurasia delivers local language programs in over thirty countries.

Lisa West Åkerblom
ITC EMEA and Asia-Pacific
Lisa West Åkerblom holds a B.Sc.
degree in electrical engineering, an international executive MBA and a M.Sc. degree in finance. She worked for
Pacific Telesis and Intel before joining FLIR Systems in 1992. Lisa spent
her first 6 years as an applications engineer and technical manager, traveling around the world in
support of customers. Since 1998, Lisa has served in several strategic positions within sales and operational management, moving from Portland to Sweden after the merger of FLIR and Agema. She is responsible for the ITC business unit. Lisa is an ISO standards working group expert within training and thermography. She has published numerous articles
and is an active member of the infrared community, both as a speaker and
committee member. |

Dr. Raphaël Danjoux
ITC Eurasia Program Development ManagerRaphaël has worked with
thermography since 1983, first as a doctoral student, then in companies
designing and fabricating special machines and control equipment. He
received his PhD in sciences in 1988 submitting a thesis titled "Pulsed
photothermal radiometry applied to the nondestructive testing of materials".
Raphaël joined FLIR Systems in 1998 as the Automation representative for
France. He became the ITC manager for the French subsidiary in May 1999,
after the merger with Inframetrics. In January 2006, he assumed the role of
Program Development Manager for ITC Eurasia in Stockholm.
In this role, Raphael responsibilities include course development and
guidance for ITC licensed trainers and training centers. He is also active
on technical committees working to develop thermographer certification
standards under ISO. |

Hans Hallin
Technology Manager,
Level II Thermographer
Mr. Hallin graduated from the Technical High School of of Stockholm in
Electronics and Telecommunication. He worked for BOFORS in the design of A/D
hardware and software for air fighter systems and ground/vehicle based fire
control systems before joining AGEMA in 1984. Hans designed electronics for
the highly successful 470 and 900 systems. Today, Hans manages the
applications laboratory in Danderyd, works with the design and building of
Level 1 and 2 Applications labs, teaches software, and provides technical
support for the FLIR sales force and customers. |

Jon Willis
ITC UK, Technical Training and Support
ITC Level II
In 1992 Jon completed a 4 year Electronic Engineering Apprenticeship and was awarded an HNC. An 8 year career in IT followed initially supporting desktop computers then leading to network and infrastructure support in the city of London. In 2000 Jon joined FLIR as Technical Support and training and is responsible for the UK training market. |

Christiane Buchgeister
ITC Eurasia Product Manager
ITC Level I, EN 473 Level 2
Christiane Buchgeister joined FLIR Systems GmbH in Germany in August 2003
after more than 8 years in the semiconductor business. She holds a M.Sc. in
Engineering Physics, an MBA in marketing, and has a broad experience from
R&D, customer support, and teaching in both industry and university. She is
responsible for the program offered by ITC Germany and holds the contact to
IR related committees and organizations. In February 2007, she will be
moving to new responsibilities at ITC Eurasia. |

Roberto Rinaldi
ITC Italy Technical Training and Support
ITC Level III
Roberto joined FLIR Systems in
1987 as a service engineer in Italy. He attended several training courses at
FLIR Stockholm on how to repair and maintain IR equipment, and therefore has
had the opportunity to follow IR technology and instrument evolution of the
past several years. A few years later, he began to commission new equipment
at customer sites and collected field experience on many IR applications.
Roberto started providing technical support to both customers and sales
personnel in 1994. Today, Roberto performs Level I training to the Italian
market after joining ITC in 2000. |

Marcel Wiechmann
Manager ITC GermanyMarcel Wiechmann joined FLIR Systems GmbH in
Germany in January 2007 after 13 years in the optical disc business. He
worked the last 7 years as a technical instructor for optical disc
replication lines and holds a degree in Engineering. He has a broad
experience in product training, customer support, and after sales service in
industry. Marcel is responsible for the program offered by ITC Germany and
is ITC’s German contact for IR related committees and organizations. |

Carina Krantz
ITC CoordinatorCarina has a degree in psychology and pedagogy. She
joined FLIR in 2002 and became the coordinator for ITC in Europe and Asia in
2006. Carina is the primary contact for customers, sales and ITC licensed
partners in addition to the coordination of all training support. |
