Hello,
Can anyone advise of point me towards a guide on what to look for when thermal imaging an industrial electrical distribution board in the UK. What would the emissivity etc be? I am doing a project and have chosen to research this.
Many thanks in advance

You could start by looking at the BSRIA guidebooks www.bsria.co.uk

F=focus, D=distance, T=temperature. most common subs have alot of blackend copper, metal, porcelain, and fiber glass. Also depends on how the reflectivity is. is it a new or an old sub? go to any serch engine and type emisivity and it will give you emisivity charts! good luck!!!

Your Welcome!!! also what i do is shoot substations when there is no sun light or early in the morning or in the evenings. less reflectivity the better!!!
