IR window for vaccum chamber Austin Huang 7/24/2004
Hi guys,

I have an application which need to inspect a target placed in a vaccum chamber. I need a longwave I.R. window which can resist 1atm pressure difference and the operating temperature is around 45 degC. The diameter of window should be larger than 50mm. Please recommend one if possible. Thanks.

Best regards,
Austin Huang

Although as standard, the Hawk IR Sightglasses are designed for electrical equipment, we can look at special requirements such as yours.

There are several windows that could work in your application. NaCl and KBr come to mind quickly. We make these windows in several standard vacuum flange sizes, 2.75" conflat being the most common. Feel free to e-mail me or call me at 440-542-7881 to discuss further information.
