| I use a very inexpensive handheld camcorder from Samsung. It accepts video in and has a firewire connection to computers. I bought at a circuit city for $232. |

| I am using a great product by RCA called the Lyra. It is a belt clippable 20 gig hard disc recorder with a 4" LCD screen. It takes a video signal straight from the camera and will record up to 80 hours of video in an easy to use format. I just dump it via USB to my laptop and then burn it to a CD for an archive. Comes with a 4 hour rechargeable battery and all necessary cables. $399 |

| Do they make an auxilary battery supply for the lyra? The 4 hour recording time would not provide an full shift of recording. |

hi ..
somebody knows where i can find the a/v cable ??..
the plug tip diameter measures 1.5mm, there is not enough commercial yet, the standar diameters of most equipments is 2.5mm.
if you know where i can buy it, please let me know.

Tried to e-mail you but didn't go through. What exactly are you looking for. I use a standard a/v cable purchased at Walmart with my E-4 camera and it works fine. Have you tried Radio shack for the end you need. You could then make your own. |

i need the Lyra's cable. the conector at lyra rd2780 i think is 1.5mm diameter and the "standar ones" measures 2.5mm
i believe that 1.5mm are called "mini" for that reason..
