Hi there,
If you are interested in classifying potential failures by temperature, you could check out NETA and/or NFPA70B.
I would use these as a guide rather than a "set-in-stone" rule however and do not forget than when looking at delta-T measurements for comparison, wherever possible take load readings, but please do it safely.
