Steam Leaks through camera Gord 2/7/2006
We had a chance to demo the GasFindIR camera. For the short time we had it it seemed to work fine. What I did notice was that steam would show up as a black vapor and if the user was not aware of this could mistaken it for a gas leak. Can you add to this?

One way to tell steam from a VOC emission is that the steam will usually dissipate faster than a VOC gas cloud. The VOC gas will leave a more distinct "trail" and hold together longer than the water vapor that you are seeing in a steam cloud.
