I would like to know specifically if the GasFindIR is capable of detecting Hydrocarbon Gas or not. Regards,

The GadFindIR camera will see a large number of hydrocarbon gases. refer to the GasFindIR thread post of 8/7/06 for a partial list. It also will see Methyl Iodide in addition to the gases on the list. most VOC's and gases ending in "ol", "ane", "ene", and "one" will be visible.
