Building Exterior Scan donnieb 2/26/2007
What time of day would be good to look at the exterior of our building? It has a rock type board siding and the rest is metal. I was thinking early in the morning before sunrise. Any input or help would be greatly appreciated since I am new to all of this.

The greater the temp difference between the int and the ext, the better the result usually. Try bracketing your exposures, i.e., int hotter than ext and vice versa, before solar heat gain and after solar heat gain. Keep away while sun is on the cladding. Also ask yourself how relective of the ambient temp is the siding going to be?..how windy is it? etc....
