Heat Transfer on Furnace & Flue Refractory Breakdowns/Hot Spots. pcm ir man 2/26/2007
Has anyone got any info on the difference in the effect/heat transfer properties of Compressed Air ( 5C )compaired to Low Pressure Steam ( 160-180C ). I am interested in finding out how both mediums affect the internal refractory damage & the external cold face surface of the equipment.
I have found lots of information on the use of LPsteam against the use of compressed air but now am stuck trying to find the different heat transfer effect. I can provide more info if required.
