| Has anyone had much success scanning the exterior side of concrete block walls for moisture? |

Yes.
Moisture will generally appear as cooler areas from the moisture evaporation.
There are many exceptions and knowledge of the construction is important. Type of wall fill, coating on surface, time of day, recent rain, ambient temperature to name a few should be considered.
Attending a building class or level certification class would be of some benefit for you. |

Interesting! Why would moisture appear as cooler than the masonry? As compare with roof scans, moisture is the hot spots!
Please explain.
