| We are looking for the thermography which can measure the temperature distribution of flames. However, many factors, especially the emissivity determination will introduce gross measurement errors. Is there any good advices? Can you recommend a good thermography? Thanks a lot! |

Imaging the envelope of a flame is relatively easy. Measuring flame temperature distribution is a very difficult task. You mentioned emissivity as an influential factor, but it is only part of it.
I think the most serious problems come with the 3-D flow of radiation emitting particles. I hardly see how you could determine its repartirion and its exact composition.
There are some available papers written by researchers in the domain of forest fires. See the International Journal of Wildland Fire and the proceedings of the International Conference on Forest Fire Research.
