NETA Certification do we need it? HITECHSOLUTIONS 4/14/2008
I was told in order to bid certain projects that I would have to be NETA Certified and it cost like 10k a year. I was like WHAT?! I am level 1 ITC certified and going for my electrical ITC certification. I don't know if that's what they were talking about or maybe just being a member? Please help!!

I believe that the 10K is for Corporate Membership. Perhaps someone else could confirm that.
Consider this:

All ITC Course Certifications meet or exceed ASNT (American Society for Non-Destructive Testing) SNT-TC-1A guidelines. Level I and Level II courses are recognized by the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), an accredited standards developer for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
