friends,
It is possible to detect low insulations in electrical motors using thermography?how?

Infrared senses Heat. Low insulation can be detected by Megger.

sometimes i had seen abnormal thermal pattern at motor frames, (care must be taken due lot of factors affects this where bad fan or obstruction of forced air is blocked due dust, dirty or whaterever other contaminants) when i saw this, check load per phase (balance) and sometimes with sort of goodluck can discover potential winding issues.

thermography is great prediction technology, but, dont forget the other ones.
