I'm looking to purchase a version of IRWwin for use with an Agema Thermovision 450 which I understand is copy protected with a dongle.
Can anyone comment on what the latest version number might be, what version of Windows it requires, and if the dongle can be made to work if windows is running under an emulator or in compatibility mode under Windows-7.
Note: I'm mostly interested in the configuration management capability.
Also, can I assume that the serial interface on the 450 is available via the power connector and that macro focus will work on a stock, (non-Pro) version of the 450.

Doug,
I used IRwin under Win 95 with an Agema 470. As you say, it had a dongle. When I migrated to Win XP I lost use of the program because the dongle would no longer be recognized. Not sure if I could have gotten it to work with some OS tricks, such as compatibility mode or not. The dongle manufacturer told me I was SOL, at least in terms of legal methods. Just a word of caution.

the original Manual (http://support.flir.com/DocDownload/Assets/39/English/1557621$A.pdf ) says at Page 1-12:
REMOTE IMAGE TRANSFER: Via RS-232 to Standar PC Running IRwin PRO software. Transfer Rate Up to 57kbps.
i believe that modern computers will be no longer runs older Irwin softwares.
