| Are their any insurance benefits that a firm may qualify for, if regular thermography practices are performed. |

| Some insurance agencies will offer a business certain "incentives" for performing IR surveys. Depending on the carrier, these incentives can range from credit for doing a survey on select components to credit for having a complete IR program in place. Check with each individual carrier and ask for a detailed breakdown of the incentives offered for doing IR surveys. Most nuclear electric generation sites use an agent that offers incentives for a fully functional IR program that follows ASNT-TC-1A recommended practices. This agent, however, only covers the nuclear industry. |
