The Building IR Basics is a new course
being offered by FLIR Systems, Inc., the global leader in infrared

This course will cover an introduction to infrared thermography with an
emphasis on delivering an easy-to understand and practical focus on the
electromagnetic spectrum, as well as how best to use and operate an infrared
camera for home inspection.
Using real-world images taken with an infrared camera, you will learn about
heat transfer and emissivity, as well as how to compensate for environmental
conditions, the occurrence of reflected light, how to look at metal and
non-metal surfaces, and much more.
