Image Storage for 390 |

One of my PCMCIA cards failed. It was replaced promptly by Viking, but the replacement did not work. I have found out that they changed the circuit board in the cards and it is no longer compatible with the somewhat picky system in the 390. They tried to locate an older card for me, but could not.
Pat at service tells me that they are aware of the problem and that no current cards of which they are aware work in the camera.
I have heard rumors of some people successfully using an adapter and a Compact Flash memory card with these cameras. My attempt to do so was not successful. Has anyone succeeded with that approach? If so, what brand adapter and what brand of CF card? Based on my PCMCIA experience: what model and serial numbers as well.
Thanks,
Jack

If you dont read spanish ...the images will tell you what type of cards need to use. pay attention to the back of cards, (whatever brand, if you can buy sandisk will be better) ..

Pat and Roberto -
Thanks for the responses.
Pat - I misunderstood our phone conversation. I thought you had indicated that SanDisk was also no longer in production with models of PC cards that worked with the camera.
Has FLIR done anything to ensure a continuing supply of storage?
Jack
