IR camera features are a tradeoff of desirability for a large group of users and other factors such as cost, weight, power consumption, size, technology etc.
Having said that, there are plenty of GPS units available for hikers, etc that you could immediately incorporate into your work, just as we used to do with digital cameras in past years. You could have the latitude/longitude as one of the elements in your text comment field. I know it would be easier in the camera, but why wait? |
