| As we all know the spot size on the IR camera is not equal to the IFOV. For an accurate temperature measurement, the spot size should be at least 5 -10 times IFOV in size, right? |

It depends on the camera and the type of target you are viewing. But in general for modern focal plane array cameras, your target should subtend more than 3 IFOVs.
