Question, About how much heat per ohm of resistance will be generated across a connection.
Also is the heat generation linear. Does it have a direct relationship to the amount of current. Or,is the relationship logrithmic? |

Heat is watts therefore watts equals current squared times resistance. Looks pretty linear to me. Check the graph. This is current across 1 ohm. Current is at the bottom increasing by 1 amp.

I have a few questions.
1. is the temperature scale Farenheit or Centigrade
2. Is this graph calculated or is it the result of actual observation. If so what were the conditions? |
