Dear All,
One of our user of Flir IR cameras is working in the area of mineral mapping with Spectro radiometer in the VNIR-SWIR. To make the system faster they are looking for a Hyper-spectral based imaging technology (Camera). At present this type of sensors are used in hyper-spectral satellite imaging in the above wavelength band. They will be using this camera for field based mineral mapping in the mines.
I feel InGaAs detectors are based suited for these types of applications. I have come to know that VisGaAs detectors are based suited for the stated applications.
Hence if anyone is aware of such area of application kindly respond.
