I'm new to the IR community and looking for a sample contract for professional services. Will be doing mostly exterior and moisture inspections. If you could e mail to kinseydallas@gmail.com Because State laws vary, I went to my Buisness lawyer with a scratch pad list of what I needed for my protection as well as image copyrights. He reviewed my notes and used a home inspectors contract as a template. We then modified my new residential contract to cover comercial IR. On both contracts I added protection to both parties that images showing physical address or comercial trade secrets would remain confidential and those photos would not be used by me for advertizing purposes. Exspect to pay $800 to $1200 to have a lawyer draw up the contract. There is a lot of little things that you don't think about when doing your own. It's well worth having a lawyer do this. My contracts are full (front and back). Since I am a HVAC contractor my Liability Insurance already cover the use of my IR, because the entire building envelope falls with in and plays a big part of my buisiness.
