I have a concerned homeowner that has a cracks in the garage floor and apron. He wants me to scan both.
Advice/help would be appreciated.

The issue could be when the concrete was place. time of year, climate or sub-grade. If you get more information it could help. |

bad soil compactation, not enough reinforced bars (or gauge to small or grill to open), concrete density to low, contaminated sand (which affects density), are some of the most causes.
test has to be done by laboraty which will have to remove a cilindrical sample of concrete of a 2-4 inch diameter all the way down.

my two cents. DUDE WALK AWAY. SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS CONCEREND HOMEOWNER.
NOT THE BEST JOB FOR INFRARED CAMERAS.
CRACKS ARE NORMAL IN SLABS. UNLESS THERE MORE THE A 1/8 INCH.
