There are several materials to choose from. Your specific application will decide which is most appropriate. Factors such as transmissivity required, spectral flatness, hardness, high temperature resistance, etc. are needed to make a specific recommendation.
However two materials commonly used at longer wavelengths are germanium and zinc selenide.
