|I want to measure the surface temperature of my chip in order to calibrate the sensor on it at different temperatures. The sensor consists of platinum thin film on silicon substrate, so the surface emissivity depends strongly on the temperature and spectral range.
In order to measure the temperature using IR-pyrometer easily and accurately, I'm considering about making the surface emissivity high and constant by coating the chip surface with a high-temperature & high-emissivity paint e.g. Hi-E-Coat 840 of Aremco or CR-Aerosol of Zyp Coatings.
The chip reaches temperatures up to 1000°C, the atmosphere is nitrogen gas.
Have someone of you ever tried measurements like this? I'd appreciate any suggestions and advices from you!
