| How to record a specific spot in a burning cigarette? |

I have FLIR SC3000. I am studting combustion behavior of cgarette. I don't know how to record a specific spot during the smoking.
I can use cursor, but when the cigarette is burning, the cursor won't move. So I cannot follow that spot.
Also, I don't know what does the number in ( ) at the end of the file name. For example bac146_3.seq (615). What does 615 mean? Is it the frame number? If it's not. How can I find the frame number?

You can use the plot feature to record specific temperature data without recording a sequence. The number at the end of the file name is the frame number.

Other methods you might consider are:
1. Use the line profile tool so you can track the entire length or section of a burning cigarette
2. Or use an area tool covering the complete area of burning and look at the maximum temperature of the area during the burn.
