In the Image Gallery there is a motor with a hot shaft but giving no temperatures for reference: what is the tempperature of the shaft, how was it deduced that there was a winding problem and what is, or what is the problem suspected to be.

Hi Eddie ..
I agree, maybe hot shaft can be due missalignment or bearing problem.
Winding problem maybe can show us uneven temperature profile at frame, at this is not the case.

I agree, from the ir image there is no way of failing the winding of the motor. |
